Gina has been discharged!!!
The doctors and nurses at MSKCC took such amazing care of her there, it makes it almost not feel totally weird to get into an Uber, just four days after having half an organ removed. (Almost.)
But Gina feels much better than she did yesterday. She's stronger, more comfortable, and finally beginning to feel just a little hungry.
She'll be recovering in Brooklyn for the next week, getting plenty of rest, healing, walking, and—eventually—some quesadillas.
It's been a crazy few days. Thank you again for all your love and support.
