On my way out of chemo today, a woman on the elevator was semi-alarmed to see me enter with my external chemo pump and my mask. To relieve her of any covid-concern, I joked, "It's not bad enough that I had to have chemo today—now I'm on my way to a mammogram!"
"Wow, yeah," she said nodding thoughtfully. "That sucks. On the other hand, it seems very on brand for 2020."
