Hard to believe I had my first chemo treatment one year ago today—back when I had lots of hair, clear skin, no real sense of what this journey would entail (or how long it would take), and absolutely no idea how much love we would receive to power us through it.
I feel pretty miserable today - tired, itchy and in pain—but seeing this was a good reminder of how far I’ve come and why there have been more smiles than tears along the way.
